Peter and Karen previously lived in central Southland, New Zealand’s southern most province. Peter has been a sheep, beef and cropping farmer for over 30 years and has a keen interest in boating, fishing and hunting. Karen was a primary school Principal for the last 10 years returning to fulltime teaching when both their children were older. For over 20 years they have hosted overseas guests at their farm and moving to the Lodge was a natural progression where they can share their love of New Zealand and the Wanaka area.
